Shortlist announced
The shortlist for the Care Integration Awards has been announced.The independent judges have now selected the finalists, ready for the next stage of judging after what was an extremely tough and gruelling process given the high quality of this year's entrants.
Those who have made the shortlist should be proud of being selected as well as having the chance to secure the winner's accolade on the awards night itself. "After three years of upheaval the new NHS is in place, but the range of new organisations raise the risk of fragmenting care. The Care Integration Awards demonstrate what happens when the NHS overcomes institutional barriers to provide seamless care. This year's awards have seen a 55% increase in the number of entries, each of which represent an impressive example of care designed around the patient rather than the boundaries created by NHS organisations."
